Djerfisherite, a Cl-bearing potassium sulfide (K6Na (Fe, Ni, Cu) 24S26Cl), is a widespread
accessory mineral in kimberlite-hosted mantle xenoliths. Nevertheless, the origin of this
sulfide in nodules remains disputable. It is usually attributed to the replacement of primary
Fe–Ni–Cu sulfides when xenoliths interact with a K-and Cl-enriched hypothetical melt/fluid.
