Abstract
Respons of different genotypes of durum wheat at different growth stages of deficient irrigation can help to identify superior genotypes for drought. In this regard, during a field experiment to eliminate the effect of irrigation at different growth stages in different wheat genotypes at the Agricultural Research Station, city of Ahvaz from Khouzestan province of Iran using a split plot design in randomized complete block design with three replicates were investigated (2011-12). The main factor of growth of irrigation in five stages tillering, stem elongation, flowering, seed formation and control sub-plots included four genotypes of bread wheat and durum varieties Chamran, Star and durum varieties were Karkheh and Behrang. Analysis of variance results indicated that among irrigation treatments in terms of number of stages and physiological parameters were significantly different growth effectively. Also in comparison with other stages of stem elongation stage, the lowest response to drought stress and elimination of water was observed. In deficient irrigation stem elongation with 424 g.m-2 more in step with 344 g.m-2 tillering showed the lowest yield. Most functions in this experimental corresponds to 403 g.m-2 variety of Karkheh and the lowest of 382 g.m-2 of Chamran variety. The highest yield in the treated deficient irrigation the Star with 384 g.m-2 stem elongation and the lowest for tillering at the Behrang cultivar with 271 g.m-2 and Chamran cultivar with 278 g.m-2, respectively. In contrast, the growth rate of physiological parameters Behrang (LAI=5.58, CGR=30.97 gm-2d-1, NAR=5.55 gm-2d-1, RGR=0.0236 gg-1d-1, SAL=142 m2 g-1) and the Star (LAI=5.58, LWR=0.335 gg-1, TDW=449.9 gm-2, LDW=151 gm-2, LA=1.96 m2, Leaf Rolling=0.638) had the response to drought stress and elimination of the lowest cultivars showed irrigation and could very well under stress conditions, an acceptable tolerance to drought stress and eliminate its offer of irrigation at different growth stages. Had the lowest growth rate Karkheh digits in most physiological parameters and drought was most effective on the stage.
