For measurement of electrical resistance or power, there are two methods namely Ammeter-
Voltmeter (AV) and Voltmeter-Ammeter (VA) methods which are being extensively used in
laboratories and field however there are certain concerns of which method is preferred
based on the value of resistance (Low, medium, high) or power (high, medium or low). This

For measurement of electrical resistance or power, there are two methods namely Ammeter-Voltmeter(A-V) and Voltmeter-Ammeter (V-A) methods which are being extensively used in laboratories and field however there are certain concerns of which method is preferred based on the value of resistance (Low, medium, high) or power (high, medium or low). This work is aimed at identifying the best suitable method for low, medium and high-power measurement. Laboratory experiments are conducted for different values of power or resistance and the observations are recorded up to a maximum of 3 kW. Validation is done with the help of standard mathematical equations to identify the best method for measurements with less error. Also, Deep Learning Classifier is used to know the accuracy of proposed method and a prediction algorithm is formulated to know the type of method to be used for the given power or resistance. Final conclusions are drawn by mentioning the type of method to be used for each resistance or power.
