In this work, friction welding was performed on Cu-Steel dissimilar metal combination. The
process variables Frictionpressure, Upset pressure, Speed&Burnoff length were selected
with nine samples. SEM Fractography and pittting corrosion test was also done. The material
Fractrography reveals that higher tensile strength sample shows the ductile fracture with cup
and cone fracture. Also power calculation was performed to find the power consumption of
the machine.
