To aid operators confronting challenges from growing renewables, FNET/GridEye continues increasing its measurement accuracy and enhancing its functionalities. This paper provides an overview on the mostrecent FNET/GridEye application improvements that help power grid operation with high renewable penetration. The real-time applications presented in this paper include event location, oscillation monitoring, inertia estimation, and islanding detection.
