This study aims to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in making career decisions for young entrepreneurs in Makassar City. This research is a qualitative research with a case study type. The subjects of this study were 5 young entrepreneurs in Makassar City, aged 20-28 years. The research setting is in Makassar City, especially where the subjects live and/or where they sell. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, interviews and observation. Test the validity of the data using source and method triangulation. The results of research on 5 young entrepreneurs in Makassar City show that factors supporting career decision making include: (1) self understanding, (2) high discipline, (3) self-confidence, (4) high commitment, (5) family support ( 6) having business relations, (7) being able to provide goods, (8) being able to see the market, (9) having managerial skills, (10) having the ability to promote, (11) being able to innovate, (12) being able to manage finances. While the inhibiting factors include: (1) lack of insight into entrepreneurship, (2) lack of ability to determine suppliers, (3) lack of ability to procure capital.
