A highly conductive and optically transparent silver nanowire–reduced graphene oxide
(AgNW–RGO) hybrid film with enhanced adhesion property was formulated by incorporating
chemical embedment of AgNWs on RGO sheets. Use of poly (vinylpyrrolidone)(PVP)
quaternized with catechol moieties accomplished both mussel-inspired functionalization of
graphene oxide (GO) together with significant N–Ag bonding with AgNW, reducing the
junction resistance between AgNW and RGO through embodiment.
Abstract
A highly conductive and optically transparent silver nanowire–reduced graphene oxide (AgNW–RGO) hybrid film with enhanced adhesion property was formulated by incorporating chemical embedment of AgNWs on RGO sheets. Use of poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) quaternized with catechol moieties accomplished both mussel-inspired functionalization of graphene oxide (GO) together with significant N–Ag bonding with AgNW, reducing the junction resistance between AgNW and RGO through embodiment.
