The present research examines a fuzzy EOQ model with imperfect quality products. This model discusses the restore of perfect items instead of defective ones by using the repair option under two cases. The first case assumes that all the defective products are mended by a repair shop at some cost while the second case considers that some fraction of flawed items that are not able to mend are kept for sale for the cheaper cost. The proportion of improper items in every collection is considered as a Pentagonal Fuzzy Number [PFN]. A fuzzy EOQ model is designed for demonstrating the issue in order to obtain the suitable solution. An impact factor of fuzziness of proportion of defective products and fraction of unrepaired items are illustrated for both the cases with an appropriate sample.
