Abundant shallow saline lakes on the Archean Yilgarn Craton in southern Western Australia
exhibit a rare spectrum of geochemical conditions. Here the field geochemistry over three
seasons (pH, salinity, and temperature), as well as major ions, trace elements, and H, O, and
