Bursa province of Turkey. For this purpose, during 2007–2008, 27 wild boars were
necropsied and examined for helminths. Individual samples of tongue and diaphragm from
27 necropsied wild boars and an additional 22 tongue and diaphragm samples provided by
hunters were examined by trichinoscopy and artificial digestion for Trichinella spp. larvae.
