the Chernobyl power plant explosion. An increased prevalence of rearrangements of the
RET protooncogene (RET/PTC rearrangements) has been reported in Belarussian post-
Chernobyl papillary carcinomas arising between 1990 and 1995. We analyzed 67 post-
