Cloud computing is a significant model offering dynamically scalable and redundant resources, employing the concept of software multi-tenancy, allowing elasticity and cost effectiveness. This paper hopes to explore the robustness of ISO/IEC 27000 family requirements as a framework for managing the security of information assets in a cloud computing environment. Acquiring the ISO/IEC 27000 family certificate will additionally enhance the Cloud Service Providers (CSP) and cloud computing information security systems, which in turn would lead to mutual trust among CSPs and cloud services consumers. Additionally, this paper aims to emphasize the main security challenges faced when introducing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) to a cloud computing environment. To improve the consistency of Security Management Framework (SMF) in cloud computing environments.
