Layered transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have attracted increased attention due to
their enhanced hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) performance. More specifically, ternary
TMD nanohybrids, such as MoS2 (1–x) Se2 x or bimetallic sulfides, have arisen as
