Aluminum and its derivatives finds practical application in cosmetics and skin care. The
article presents three groups of chemical compounds of aluminum: inorganic, organic and
argils. The aim of the article was to present various properties of aluminum as well as its
application in cosmetology and cosmetic industry. Health hazard of applying aluminum
compounds was also discussed.
