This work" Local Governance and ICTs in Africa" emerged as a result of a three years
research funded by the IDRC involving 10 African states. Eventually nine countries were
able to carry out the research. The countries were Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Mozambique,
Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Ghana and Mauritius.
