Monod-type kinetics are the most prevalent mathematical expressions for the description of
chloroethene biodegradation. Despite the small differences in the mathematical formulations
employed in the literature, kinetic parameters that have been estimated for Monod-type
models vary by two to three orders of magnitude. Therefore, borrowing kinetic parameters
