This chapter examines the relationship between media relations and corporate social
responsibility (CSR). The chapter summarizes the research literature that explores this
relationship using three levels of analysis: content, production, and effects; that is, the
chapter examines how the news media CSR, influences on the production of CSR news,
and the effects of CSR news. Opportunities for future research are offered at the end of the
chapter.
