Metal organic frameworks as heterogeneous catalysts for the production of fine chemicals

A Dhakshinamoorthy, M Opanasenko… - Catalysis Science & …, 2013 - pubs.rsc.org
This review focuses on the use of metal organic frameworks (MOFs) as catalysts for the
synthesis of fine chemicals. While petrochemistry is characterized by gas phase reactions, in
which MOFs cannot compete with robust zeolites, MOFs are better suited for liquid phase
reactions performed at moderate temperatures. These are the conditions typically employed
for the production of fine chemicals characterized by being more complex and diverse
molecules of low volatility, but with high added value. For the preparation of this type of …

[图书][B] Metal organic frameworks as heterogeneous catalysts

FXL i Xamena, J Gascon - 2013 - books.google.com
This book describes the application of Coordination Polymers (CPs) as heterogeneous
catalysts. Coordination Polymers have many interesting properties that make them very
promising materials for applications in heterogeneous catalysis. This has propitiated a very
fast development of the field in the last 5-10 years. Rather than being exhaustive, this book
describes the cutting edge of this hot topic through selected examples taken from the
literature, combined with hints on what must be taken into account when evaluating the …
