diverse systems. DTs are virtual replicas of physical objects. The goal of this paper is to
develop a metaverse and DT platform for BMS by leveraging MATLAB and Unreal Engine
tools. A digital lithium-ion NMC battery is created in MATLAB and interfaced with a virtual
battery model in Unreal Engine. The synchronization of these two models results in the
battery DT. Results show that the battery conditions can be visualized in Unreal Engine.
