Abstract
Vehicular ad hoc network is based on wireless technology for providing communication among vehicles. Vehicles interact by the wireless channel which makes it vulnerable to various attacks. But security is the major concern in the Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET) as it is the concern of the life of an individual. In this paper, Named Data Networking (NDN) for forwarding the data packets in network is discussed. In this paper, security of the network by calculating the trust value of every node by interacting them is being done. The results show that the proposed technique has shown significant improvements in the result than previous geo-based location forwarding technique. Comparative results are shows the network improved in term of throughput, an end to end delay, good put, and PDR.
