In this paper a new ultra wide band exponential transverse electro-magnetic (TEM) horn
antenna with binomial impedance taper is presented. The binomial distribution is used for
the impedance taper along the length of the proposed antenna. Using binomial distribution
for the impedance taper causes the antenna to have minimum VSWR and flat gain in a wide
