Plasma actuators have been suggested for several aerospace applications. 1–20 These
have included viscous drag reduction, 8, 19, 20 controlling flow separation, 12–14, 16, 17
use as a control surface on moving vehicles 8, 20 and hypersonic flow control. 6, 7 An
abundance of experimental and computational investigations of these applications has
