This paper presents a comprehensive model for a unit solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). It covers
all parts of the cell including fluid and porous solid phases. The electrochemical and
transport processes involved in an SOFC can thereby be taken into account. The
commercial computational fluid dynamic package Star-CD along with built-in user-defined
