In this project, poly vinyl alcohol (PVA) polymer is used to prepare CdS/PVA
nanocomposites via chemical deposition method. The samples were prepared using
cadmium chloride CdCl2 as cadmium ions source while thiourea was used as a sulphur
ions source and the yellow obtained precipitations too, which form PVA capped CdS
