In this paper, we introduce a general framework to efficiently optimize phased array
antennas integrated with frequency selective surfaces (FSS) and feeding elements. The
framework consists of two main parts: the first being parametric models that enable fast
evaluation of the full-wave problem for a range of frequency, scan angle and geometry
