In this paper, an identification algorithm for the non-uniformly Wiener systems with dead-
zone nonlinearities is proposed. Firstly, a uniform model of the Wiener system is
reformulated with the help of the lift technique and a switching function. Then, a least
squares based iterative recursive algorithm with variable forgetting factor is presented using
the auxiliary model and iterative method. Simulation results indicate the effectiveness of the
proposed method.
