Improving reading, writing, and mathematical ability of the indigenous children of Malind Tribe through Community-Based Learning at Muli Village the regency of Merauke. The ability growth of the school age children in elementary school, secondary school, and middle school even at university is low especially occures experienced by the indigenous children in Muli. This community service program was aimed at improving the indigenous children skill on reading, writing, and Mathematics in Muli through joyful and easy learning model and method. Community-Based Learning Model was supported by the indigenous people of Malind to improve skills of their childern on reading, writing, and Mathematics. Those supports ease the writer to conduct the community service. The result of the program was magnificent. The skill of indigenous children on reading, writing, and Mathematics was significantly improved. It was successful because of the full support from the parents and community during the program. Therefore, it can be concluded that Community-Based Learning Model was effective to improve the indigenous children of Malind Tribe inhabiting Muli Village. Other teachers and educators shoud implement this learning model to teach students especially indigenous students of Papua.
