Phytochemical screening has been carried out and the fractionation of the 4 types of
gambier, namely the type of Udang (U), Riau Gadang (RG), Riau Mancik (RM) and the type
of Cubadak (C). From the results of the qualitative analysis showed that the gambier
containing quinone, terpenoids, alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids and saponins. While it was not
