Today, in the technical application, synthetic polymer materials are largely represented due to the many advantages of its properties. Polymers are becoming more and more in use as construction materials in various areas (for example in the construction of parts of transport vehicles, manufacturing of various products in general mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, households, etc.). However, in addition to all these advantages, we must not forget today's limitation of natural resources, as well as the importance of waste management, and also the possibilities and availability of recycling processes of individual materials, both metals and plastics.

Every country in the world strives to protect nature and preserve the environment, and also in the Republic of Croatia has made a significant step forward in that field, especially because the obligation of Republic of Croatia to join to the European Union (EU) was to harmonize our legislation with EU legislation, and it is undoubtedly that legal solutions will continue to develop and improve.
