In the backdrop of modern education, augmented reality (AR) technology is increasingly emerging as a novel and potential approach to enhance the quality of teaching. The study aimed to answer two questions:(1) How effective is the use of AR technology in teaching Physics? and (2) How prepared are teachers to use AR technology in their instruction? The findings reveal that the implementation of AR has brought about positive effects in Physics teaching, enhancing understanding and increasing student engagement. However, while teachers seem confident and willing to adopt this new technology, they also express concerns about having adequate resources and technical support. Through this research, we emphasize the importance of focusing on providing support and training for teachers, and concurrently encourage ongoing research and development of AR-based solutions in education.
