What went well: The smart book provided a faculty-approved uniform code for teeth arrangement exercises for undergraduate trainees. The QR codes provided video links to videos available on YouTube that closely resemble the ideologies of the instructors and faculty. The QR codes to accredited video links provided trainees unrestricted access to a video demonstration at any given time.
What did not go so well: The trainees lacked confidence while referring to a video demonstration of teeth arrangements that were being done using different instruments or working styles as opposed to the familiar environment in their dental schools. The language barrier and unfamiliar characters in the video as instructors could also have affected their reliance on the set of videos given. The duration of videos had a considerable effect on the attention span of students as well, with students skipping videos of a long time and with poor visual appeal.
