The Bayes estimates of reliability and hazard rate functions of the finite range failure model
(1) have been developed based on life tests that are terminated at a preassigned time point
taking the order of observations into consideration. For the parameter involved, the priors
gamma, Weibull and log normal densities have been considered. The importance of the
distributions, considered here as priors, in the theory of reliability has led the authors to use
them as prior distributions.
