Fog computing paradigm has emerged to be complementary to cloud computing paradigm
to facilitate deployment of latency-critical, and bandwidth-intensive applications.
Researchers have shown the need of fog computing towards deployment of such
applications. Several research problems need to be solved prior to the real-world
deployment of large-scale fog environments. These research problems in the realm of Fog
Infrastructure as a Service have been identified and discussed in this paper.

Cloud computing stops short in its offerings towards deployment of latency-critical and
bandwidth-intensive applications. Fog computing is emerging as complementary to cloud
