The consequence of nitro-group attached to aromatic ring of 2-nitrobenzoato complexes of
copper (II) on pseudo-polymorphism and in synthesis of metal carboxylato complexes is
demonstrated and the results are compared with analogous first row transition metal
carboxylato complexes.
