We introduce the weighted power hazard rate distribution and investigate many of its
properties. The weighted power hazard rate distribution derives many lifetime distributions
including, weighted Rayleigh, weighted Weibull, and power hazard rate distribution. In
addition, maximum likelihood estimates of the model parameters are also obtained. Finally,
an application, as well as comparisons of the weighted power hazard rate distribution and its
sub-models has been analyzed using the real data set.
