This study focused on the potential determinants of performance of the university which highlights the stakeholders' awareness and acceptability of the university’s strategic plan. The study's goal was to determine stakeholders' awareness of and acceptability of the strategic plan, as well as its impact on the performance of the university. A total of 3350 stakeholders participated in this research which includes administrators, faculty, student clients, non-teaching personnel, alumni, parents, and identified government and industry partners. The findings indicate that the internal stakeholders (administrators, faculty, students, and nonteaching personnel) have a higher level of awareness as compared to external stakeholders (alumni, parents, identified government and industry partners) on the universitys strategic management plan in terms of vision, mission, perspectives, and objectives. Result also reveals that both internal and external stakeholders have a high level of acceptability on the crafted strategic management plan. Moreover, the awareness and acceptability of stakeholders have a causal link to their perception of the performance of the university. It is recommended that the university should improve further the wide dissemination of the strategic management plan through print and non-print. Tarpaulins, flyers, brochures, leaflets, pamphlets, magazines, and newsletters are effective ways of dissemination. The findings also encourage stakeholders to be mindful of, consider, and support the university's strategic management plan, mandates and priorities since these significantly influence the university’s performance.
