Mercury is a well-known pollutant and neurotoxicant having number of serious effects on
human and environment and because of this it is an element of concern. Lot of progress has
been made to capture elemental mercury through sorption and various sorbents have been
tested for the same. Among various mercury adsorbents, silver impregnated or decorated
