Distribution states of reinforcement have considerable impact on the strength and ductility of
metal composites. Herein, we reported a “nanodispersion-in-grains” strategy to
simultaneously strengthen and stabilize Cu composites, which relied on a uniform
dispersion of extremely fine carbonized polymer dots (CPD) inside grains. The intragranular
