We report on the antiferromagnetic exchange coupling between a submonolayer of Mn (II)-
phthalocyanine molecules and a ferromagnetic Eu (II)-oxide thin film. The exchange energy
is larger by nearly two orders of magnitude compared to previous studies involving oxidic
substrates.
