Methods: Consecutive families attending a specialised clinic and met inclusion criteria, ie
first-degree relative; no premorbid diagnosis; and postmortem examination suggestive of
genetic heart disease, were invited to complete a psychosocial survey including Short Form
36v2 (SF-36v2), Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS), Impact of Events–Revised (IES-
