Surgical operation simulation based on virtual reality

Virtual reality model (VRM) of robotic arm is built in this study for the purpose of surgical
simulation (virtual thorascope). Control of robotic arm with sensors is performed. Robotic
arm and Virtual reality model are operated together in real time. Case studies are based on
medical applications especially on Thorascopic Surgery in Gaziantep University, Medical
Faculty. Different scenarios are implemented especially on thorascopic surgery in real time.
An example is included herein.
