Background Dysphagia with subsequent aspiration occurs in up to 60% of acute respiratory
failure (ARF) survivors. Accurate bedside tests for aspiration can reduce aspiration-related
complications while minimizing delay of oral nutrition. In a cohort of ARF survivors, we
