… This research aimed to analyze, from the maternal perspective, how the bond with the
baby is built in the puerperium period. This is a qualitative study, in which information was
collected through semi-directed interviews with six participants. For the data analysis, the
speeches of the participants were placed in categories and analyzed in the light of
