Autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) is a unique type of chronic pancreatitis in which
pathogenesis involves autoimmune mechanisms. 1, 2 Contrary to ordinary chronic
pancreatitis, AIP responds well to corticosteroids. 1, 3, 4 However, diagnostic uncertainty
