Following increased interests to examine key trends is IS research, this paper presents a
bibliometric analysis of Information Systems Management highlighting key themes within the
past 36 years, and a semantic analysis of articles' keywords to uncover trends most
influential on ISM. It considers various metrics including citation structure, and most-cited
papers. The paper divides IS research into two groups of core and emerging topics, and
concludes with directions for future studies in the discipline.
