I. Introduction or mass efficiency, a cylindrical geometry is often an ideal solution for many
structural designs. However, if such cylindrical structural designs are subjected to
aerodynamic or hydrodynamic loads, the wake and drag effects must be considered [1]. The
drag and wake associated with flow over a cylinder is a function of Reynolds number based
on diameter (D) with dynamic viscosity (ν) and flow speed (V)
