We draw from the domains of Visual Analytics and Augmented Reality to support a new form
of in-situ interactive visual analysis. We present a Situated Analytics model, a novel
interaction, and a visualization concept for reasoning support. Situated Analytics has four
primary elements: situated information, abstract information, augmented reality interaction,
and analytical interaction.
