Vacuum stress-energy tensor of the electromagnetic field in rotating frames

A formalism for calculating the vacuum stress-energy tensor of the electromagnetic field in
an arbitrarily moving frame is presented and applied to a system in uniform rotation. The
spectra of the energy density, Poynting flux, and stress of the zero-point field are calculated
in such a frame. A comparison is made with the case of linear acceleration and its
associated thermal effects.
