Impinging jets are widely used in ventilation systems in order to improve indoor air quality
and energy consumption. Thus the flow dynamics involved in these configurations is very
important and should be understood and controlled. In the present study, a plane jet issuing
from a rectangular nozzle and impinging on a slotted plate was investigated experimentally
