Abstract
The Internet has had a tremendous impact on the social welfare policy enterprise. The Internet-provided access to policy information has greatly facilitated both policy analysis and more basic policy research while the development of Internet-based advocacy tools has revolutionized the practice of changing policies. In the past few years, revolutionary Internet-based tools, collectively referred to as Web 2.0, have emerged on the scene and promise to have an even larger impact on both policy research and policy practice.
